CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (ESPN CLARKSVILLE) – Kenwood wins 73-72 against the district rival Northwest Vikings.
The Kenwood/Northwest basketball game went down to the wire Tuesday night. The Vikings battled back in the 4th quarter. The Vikings’ two-sport athlete Shatar McClay scores two points in the last second when they were down by three to end the game.
Kenwood’s James Williams led all scorers with 29 points, with teammate Allen Zirker scoring 23.
Northwest’s duo of Isaiah McCoin scored 27 points and Shatar McClay scored 24 points.
Kenwood plays at Cheatham County on Friday and Northwest plays another district rival West Creek on Friday.
