CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Christ Lutheran Church of Clarksville is hosting its annual German Christmas Market (“Christkindlmarkt”) December 8 and 9.
This is the fourth year of the event, which features handmade gifts by local craftsmen, Christmas music, and German food such as grilled bratwurst, broetchen, baked goods, pretzels, warm Gluehwein, and five types of church-brewed beer.
Last year’s event attracted more than 3,000 people. For 2017, the event will feature over 50 vendors (no franchise items or commercial merchandise), Christmas ornaments, and nutcrackers.
Catch the Christmas spirit of the old country on Friday, December 8 from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday, December 9 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 2425 Kirkwood Rd.
