CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) The ESPN Clarksville & Culver’s Athlete of the Week is Kenwood High School receiver and defensive back, Caleb McQueen.
In the Knights’ week seven win over West Creek, McQueen had a great game on both sides of the ball including two interceptions and a touchdown.
“McQueen is one of the hardest workers I have ever been around. He is a very good football player and student, but an even better young man. He never complains about anything and always strives to be first,” said Kenwood head coach Robert Gillard.
“The greatest thing for me is he will be back next year. Offensively and defensively, he can’t be replaced for the things he does for the team. He really doesn’t talk much but he leads by example,” Gillard said.
