CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) A wind advisory is in effect for middle Tennessee beginning at 4 p.m. Monday and extending through Tuesday morning at 7.

Clarksville residents can expect 1 ½” to 2 ½” of rain and winds to 35 miles-per-hour with gusts as high as 50 mph.

The Tennessee Emergency Management Agency has declared a state of emergency on advance of the tropical storm. So far Montgomery County’s Emergency Operations Center does not have plans to open, but this may change as the storm progresses.

Driving conditions may become difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. A few trees and tree limbs may be blown down, as well as loose objects being blown around. Power outages may also occur.
