CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) The ESPN Clarksville Culver’s athlete of the week is Northeast High School junior running back Tyrique Freeman. In the Eagles week two win over McCracken County, Freeman had 160 yards on 17 carries and one touchdown. Tyrique also works hard in the classroom and currently has a 3.4 GPA.
“Tyrique has become one of our leaders. He is the type of kid you want. He stays after every day and puts in extra work to help his conditioning. I am glad we have him and he is going to make some program a good player on Saturdays as well.” Said Eagles head coach Chad Watson.
