CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – With the holidays just around the corner the Clarksville Salvation Army will soon be taking applications for their Thanksgiving and Christmas assistance programs.
Starting Monday, October 28 through Friday, November 1, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. residents of Montgomery, Stewart and Houston Counties can apply in person at the Salvation Army at 210 Kraft Street.
Seniors 60 years and older can apply for Thanksgiving and Christmas food boxes and low income families can apply for their children between the ages of 0-12 for the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program.
Lieutenant Christopher Coulson with the Salvation Army said applicants will need to bring a photo ID, proof of a current street address, ID for each member in the household and proof of all household income.
