CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) Deputy has been injured in a crash at the intersection of Riverside Drive and N. Second Street.
MCSO spokesperson Sandra Brandon said three vehicles were involved in the crash that occurred sometime after 12 p.m. Two of the drivers were cleared by EMS at the scene.
Deputy Eric Trout was transported by EMS to Tennova Healthcare with non-life threatening injuries.
Trout’s K9, Fuse, was in the vehicle at the time of the crash. He was taken to an animal hospital where he was examined and cleared by the vet.
No further details about the crash have been released.
