William “Bill” Wayne Whitney, Jr., 45, of Clarksville, TN, died Saturday, October 19, 2013. He was born December 5, 1967 in Helena, MT to the late William Wayne Whitney and Virginia Hileman Whitney.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at 6 p.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 from 3 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Bill was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was an avid sports man and member of the Tennessee Deer Club.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Whitney of Clarksville, TN; three sons, Douglas (Renee) Cox, Thomas Nicholson, and Joseph (Tina) Nicholson; daughter, Sarah (Sara) Nicholson; sister, Teresa (George) Whitney; and eight grandchildren, Carlie Whitney, Shay Whitney, Trenton Downey, Thomas Nicholson, Whitney Nicholson, Kyle Nicholson, Allison Nicholson, and Tegan Nicholson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tennessee Wildlife Association, 6200 Marrowbone Lake Road, Joelton, TN 37080.
