CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A Clarksville woman has been charged with animal cruelty after allegedly allowing her dog to starve.

According to an arrest warrant, 19-year-old Patty Sipe did not seek veterinary care for her dog and allowed it to starve to death over a period of three months.

No further information about the charge was provided.

Sipe was charged with aggravated animal cruelty this week. Her bond was set at $5,000.
