CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville’s local veterans organization, the Montgomery County Veterans Coalition, has had their video submission accepted to enter the USA Today ACT Community Thrive Award.

A Community Thrives is a new approach to social impact programs, which funds and support great ideas. The top 10 voted submissions in each category will be reviewed by a panel of judges. The judges will determine the top three applicants in each category who will be awarded grants of either $50,000 or $100,000 each. The voting period begins now and continues through May 12, 2017.
