Dr. Thomas “Tom” Cunningham, Jr., age 78, of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at Tennova Healthcare.
Tom was born December 22, 1938, in Troy, TN, to the late Thomas Cunningham, Sr. and Georgia Stover Cunningham. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean Cunningham; and sister, Georgianne Vaughn.
Dr. Cunningham practiced urology for over 38 years. He had a love of food, wine, and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, April 8, at 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Joel Guinness officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, April 8, from 10:00 AM until the hour of service, at the funeral home.
Tom is survived by his three children, Tom Cunningham and his wife Devon, Jennifer Cunningham Packer and her husband Nigel, and Matt Cunningham; and five grandchildren, Hadley Grace Cunningham, Ella Jean Cunningham, Cameron David Cunningham, Van Moffatt Packer, and Sidney Elliot Packer.
