Ingeborg Christine Whitlow, age 74, of Clarksville, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017, at her residence.
Ingeborg was born March 25, 1942, in Munich, Germany, to the late Balthasar Decker and Kreszenz Leitmeier Decker. She worked for eight years at the Fort Campbell Officers Club and retired from Walmart after 17 years of service.
A celebration of life service will be held Friday, March 24, at 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Garrette Milliken officiating. Interment will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, in Hopkinsville. Visitation will be Thursday, March 23, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, and Friday, March 24, from 10:00 AM until the hour of service, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Whitlow is survived by her husband of 39 years, Edward J. Whitlow; daughter, Michelle Nina Whitlow Mason of Clarksville; step-daughter, Pamela Whitlow (Archie) Hartsfield of El Paso, TX; two sisters, Brunhilde Decker and Elfriede Maier, both of Munich, Germany; two grandchildren, Quyshawn Mason and Terence Jackson; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2000 Charlotte Avenue, Nashville, TN 37203.
