CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A GoFundMe campaign for a Fort Campbell soldier and wife with newborn quadruplets has now topped $1 million dollars.

Kayla and Sgt. Charles Gaytan welcomed quadruplets last month at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Kayla was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma last January, had just finished five months of chemotherapy and was in remission when she found out she was pregnant.

Through all this, the Gaytan’s consider themselves extremely fortunate and started the GoFundMe campaign with a goal of $5,000 to cover medical expenses.

As of Monday, January 30 the fund has raised $1,115,900.
