NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Opponents of President Donald Trump’s ban on refugees are planning a protest Sunday in Nashville.
An event listing on Facebook indicates the protest will be held at 3:00 p.m. at the offices of Senator Bob Corker and Lamar Alexander at 3322 West End Ave.
The aim of the demonstration is to “Raise up and stand against the targeting of immigrants and banning refugees in our cities and states.”
Demonstrations were held at airports around the country Saturday by hundreds protesting President Donald Trump’s temporary ban on refugees from some Muslim-majority nations.
