CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A Clarksville man has been indicted by the January session of the Montgomery County Grand Jury on child rape charges.
According to the indictment, Mark Lewis has been charged with eight counts of child rape and seven counts of aggravated sexual battery.
Records show that the acts Lewis is accused of occurred between January 2007 and January 2012. The child was under the age of 13 at the time of the alleged crimes.
Lewis was arrested Jan. 17 and his bond was set at $350,000.
