Thomas Bates Moore, Jr., age 95, of Clarksville, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016, at Tennessee State Veterans Home of Clarksville.
Thomas was born April 6, 1921, in Clarksville, TN, to the late Thomas B. Moore, Sr. and Lillian Chesnut Moore. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Harriett Moore; and daughter, Terry Moore Cornell.
Mr. Moore was a car salesman for Groves Oldmobile-Cadillac. He was a US Army veteran and a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. Thomas was a loving husband and father.
Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, January 6, at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Rev. Meghan Holland officiating. Visitation will be Friday, January 6, from 1:00 PM until the hour of service, at the funeral home.
Thomas is survived by his grandson, Tom Cornell of Philadelphia, PA; niece, Anita Smith of Clarksville; and caregiver, Jackie Adams of Clarksville.
