DICKSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) – A brush fire in Dickson County came dangerously close to homes Wednesday night.
It started around 5:30 p.m. near the Coon Creek Road and Eno Road area.
The Tennessee City Volunteer Firefighters and Tennessee Forestry Division were on hand to help put out the blaze.
According to officials on the scene, the brush fire started with someone burning debris in their yard. High wind then caused it to spread out of control.
Homeowners feared the fire would spread onto their properties; however, it was contained and no houses were damaged.
