HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – (WKRN) A man from Hopkinsville, Kentucky has been charged with murder after police say he admitted to the crime.
Bradley Profitt, 53, was taken into custody Sunday by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office.
The victim has been identified as 62-year-old Bobby Jones. His body was found Saturday morning at his home on Dawson Springs Road.
Authorities say he confessed to the overnight killing of another man in the 11000 block of Dawson Springs Road.
Profitt has been charged with murder, two counts of theft of a motor vehicle, and three counts of theft of a firearm.
He remains behind bars at the Christian County Jail on $100,000 bond.
