Jerome Neal Myers, 101, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2016, at his residence.

Jerome was born on August 18, 1915, a son of Irving and Bessie Smith Myers. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Gorum Foust Myers; brother, Bartley Myers; and sister, Marie Myers Ferrell.

Jerome was a member of St. Bethlehem United Methodist Church. He was retired from Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation. He was Commissioned a Kentucky Colonel by Gov. Steven L. Beshear and received a certificate for reaching his 100th birthday by City Mayor, Kim McMillan and County Mayor, Jim Durrett.

Graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Rev. William Myers (Grandson) officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2016, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. and Thursday, September 8, 2016, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home.

Jerome is survived by his son, Jerry (Rhonda) Myers of Clarksville, TN; daughter, Shirley (Ronny) Bell of Clarksville, TN; three grandchildren, Brian (Cammie) Bell, Johnny Bell, and William (McCray) Myers; and five great-grandchildren, Weston Bell, Kingsley Bell, Laney Bell, Josephine Myers, and Oliver Myers.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Employees of Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation and St. Bethlehem United Methodist Church Sunday School Class.
