CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A Clarksville woman has been indicted by the Montgomery County Grand Jury on charges of human sex trafficking and money laundering.
According to court records, 22-year-old Kiersten Napodano is accused of “recruiting, enticing, harboring, transporting, or proving another person for the purpose of a commercial sex act.”
The victim was 17 years old at the time of the alleged crime (April 2016).
She was also charged with using proceeds derived directly or indirectly from sex trafficking to promote further sex trafficking acts.
Napodano was arrested and booked into the Montgomery County Jail on $52,500 bond.
According to previous records, she was also arrested in June for prostitution.
Another Clarksville resident, Michael Helton, was arrested in April for trafficking a juvenile for the purpose of sex.
According to a previous report, Helton trafficked a 17-year-old female for the purpose of providing a commercial sex act at a motel in Clarksville.
