KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The public is invited to attend a memorial for beloved college basketball coach Pat Summitt next week at the University of Tennessee.
The service will be held on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Thompson-Boling Arena.
Admission is free. Doors open to the public at 5:30 p.m. Attendees should enter through Gates B,C, D and E.
Attendees are asked to be seated by 6:30 p.m. so the service can begin promptly at 7 p.m.
Photos during the service are not permitted. Official event photos will be posted on utsports.com after the service.
A free shuttle will also be in service beginning at 4:30 p.m. for those who park at the Ag Campus off of Neyland Drive.
Summitt died at the age of 64 on June 28. She is survived by her son.
