CHARLOTTE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Two men were killed and another injured in a Dickson County shooting Tuesday afternoon.
WKRN News 2 reports that it happened in the area of Todd and Picnic streets in Charlotte, Tennessee, about 30 minutes south of Clarksville.
Authorities have secured the scene, which spans about two blocks.
A wrecked car riddled with bullet holes was also found near a home that has since been blocked off with yellow crime tape.
The Dickson County sheriff told News 2 the double murder is an isolated incident and the public is not in any danger.
The investigation is ongoing. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is assisting and arrived to the scene around 1 p.m.
The victims’ identities have yet to be released.
A motive was not immediately known.
