CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A woman was killed in a crash Monday around 6:10 a.m. on Madison Street near the Haynes Street intersection.
According to Officer Natalie Hall with the Clarksville Police Department, a small pick-up truck left the roadway and struck a pole.
The adult female driver died at the scene.
There were no other passengers in the vehicle.
The woman has been identified by Clarksville police as 23-year-old Amanda Jo Peake from Clarksville.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
