CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville-based Camp Rainbow will conduct its biggest fundraiser of the year February 18-19 during the Beaver 100.3 Camp Rainbow Radiothon.
“This is one of the most important local charities and we devote two full days of programming to raise the funds to make this great event happen for the children of Clarksville,” Beaver 100. 3 Brand Manager JT Daniels said.
The two day event includes on-air appeals, interviews with children, counselors, and organizers of Camp Rainbow as well as sponsors such as Bikers Who Care. Listeners are encouraged to call in and become Dream Makers with their donation.
Camp Rainbow is a week-long summer camp held in June for children with special medical situations that keep them from attending other summer camps.
The event is free for attendees and provides activities, specially trained counselors, and medical support staff to allow the children to enjoy a fun-filled camp with all the necessary support.
A Dream Maker sponsorship is just $20 per month for one year or a one-time cost of $240. You can call 931-648-7721 Friday from now until 6 p.m. to become a Dream Maker.
One-time donation of any amount will also be accepted.
Call 931-648-7721 to donate. If the line is busy, keep trying.
Organizers have room for more campers. You can see if your child qualifies for Camp Rainbow on the organization’s website.
Beaver 100.3 FM, Clarksville’s local country music station, has conducted the Camp Rainbow Radiothon since 2009.
