MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. – A traffic incident involving a school bus and another vehicle was reported Monday afternoon on Hwy 48/13 in Montgomery County.
Clarksville-Montgomery County School System spokesperson Elise Shelton said no one was injured but paramedics were called to the scene as a precaution.
However, three children were taken to the hospital by their parents or legal guardians, according to a Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) report.
The students were loaded onto another school bus and transported home.
THP said a 2013 Ford Fiesta was stopped at the intersection of Hwy 48/13 and Ramblewood Rd. The school bus was heading southbound and turned left on Ramblewood Rd. when the left corner of the bus struck the vehicle.
The bus driver and driver of the Ford were not injured. No charges were filed.
