CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – 5 Star Media Group will host its annual Toy Drive Dec. 4 and 5 to benefit non-profit organizations in the Clarksville area.
Q108, Beaver 100.3 FM, z97.5, Rewind 94.3, ESPN Clarksville, and Sunny 99.1 are stationed at Toys R Us off Wilma Rudolph Blvd. through 9pm, Saturday, Dec. 5 to collect toys.
More than 1,000 children will benefit from this toy drive.
Free Starbucks will be offered (with your donation).
On Saturday, there will be appearances from Star Wars characters with the 501st Legion, Santa Claus, Geoffrey the Giraffe, Bucky the Beaver and Z97.5 Rock Girl.
Monetary donations and collected toys will be given to Sanctuary Inc., United Way, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Toys for Tots, Centerstone and various foster care organizations. These are all local non-profits that serve Clarksville and the surrounding area.
Last year the community donated more than 2,200 toys and nearly $2,000.
The event is sponsored by Grace Dental and Fort Campbell Federal Credit Union.
