ROBERTSON COUNTY, Tenn. – The driver of a tractor trailer has been arrested following a crash Wednesday morning on I-24.

The semi entered the median and overturned on I-24 eastbound near mile marker 25 at 10:30 a.m., according to a report from Tennessee Highway Patrol.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash, but one lane was temporarily shut down and traffic was slow moving.

The driver, 39-year-old Chad Cherry of Kaufman, TX, was treated for his injuries at Skyline Hospital and released.

He was later charged with DUI and booked into the Robertson County Jail. The report does not state what he was under the influence of at the time of the crash.
