MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. – The National Weather Service (NWS) in Nashville has issued a Wind Advisory for tonight and is forecasting a strong cold front with heavy rain on Wednesday.
Winds Advisory takes effect tonight for winds 15 to 25 mph and gusts to 40 mph.
Storms Wednesday will bring one to three inches of rainfall to Middle Tennessee.
This may produce potential flooding of small creeks and streams, but overall flooding will be minimal.
However, standing water on roadways is almost certain to occur, according to NWS.
