CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A grandmother wants to reach out to the first responders who delivered her granddaughter in an ambulance Tuesday night.
Antoinette Prussia’s daughter, Samantha, was pregnant and not feeling well Monday night, so Antoinette took her to the hospital. Doctors said she wasn’t dilated yet and sent her home.
The next evening Samantha was still feeling ill, and while Antoinette was on her way to work, she got the call that Samantha’s water had broken.
“I just wanted to tell them (the Emergency Medical Services workers) thank you very much, because if I would have taken her I would have never made it to the hospital, she went that quick,” Antoinette said.
Kaylee Isabell Mae Prussia was born at 7:31 p.m. She was 7 pounds, 8 ounces.
Both mom and baby are happy and healthy.
Antoinette said the women in the ambulance who helped deliver Kaylee are named Denise, Amber Rose, and Sharon. She wants to contact them to thank them for helping her daughter.
“I just want people to know how much these ambulance people do, and what they do,” she said.
Anyone who knows these EMS workers can contact Antoinette Prussia at prussia1234@gmail.com.
