MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. – The National Weather Service in Nashville says an incoming cold front will approach Middle Tennessee tonight, bringing gusty winds and the possibility of severe weather.

After dark, wind gusts are expected to be over 30 mph, which can blow around loose objects like garbage cans and potentially take down tree limbs.

A line of storms will move into the mid-state after 9 p.m. Some of these storms may become severe, with damaging straight line winds.
