HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – A man has been charged with murder after calling police to say he shot someone.

According to a news release, Hopkinsville Police Department officers were dispatched to 1903 Calvin Drive Apt. B, after a subject called police and said he had just shot someone.

When police arrived on the scene officers found 29-year-old David Markle outside of the residence.

Officers then located 27-year-old Justin Fish, who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene by the Christian County Coroner.

Police interviewed Markle, and then arrested and charged him with one count of first degree murder. He was booked into the Christian County Jail.
