NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The search for a Speaker of the U.S. House may point toward Tennessee, according to WKRN News 2.
Seventh district Republican Congressman Marsha Blackburn says she supports Paul Ryan for the job, but admits she has been approached.
“You are always honored when your colleagues come to you and say, ‘hey this is something we think you could solve’ and I have promised them that I would listen and we will see how things shake out,” she told News 2.
Congressman Blackburn said being speaker is not something she has sought.
