CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department, Altra Federal Credit Union, and downtown businesses have teamed up for One Frightful Night, also known as Fright on Franklin, will be held Saturday, October 31 from 3-6 p.m. in downtown Clarksville.
One Frightful Night is a free, family-friendly event featuring safe trick-or-treating, costume contests, vendors, and much more.
Once again, pre-registration for the costume contests is required. There will be no registration the day of the event. Contest participants can register now at the Parks and Recreation office or online at www.cityofclarksville.com/fright to participate.
The contest times and age groups are as follows:
3:15 p.m. Ages 0-2
3:45 p.m. Ages 3-6
4:15 p.m. Ages 7-9
4:15 p.m. Ages 10-12
5:15 p.m. Groups
All costumes should be in good taste and appropriate for a family event. Registrants are asked to arrive 15-minutes prior to their scheduled time to check-in.
Victoria Shoulders, owner and photographer at Pro Studio 7, is among the vendors featured at this year’s event.
“This is our favorite event of the year,” Shoulders said. “We dress up our booth with really scary decorations and have special offers for holiday portraits. We go all out for Halloween.”
