Arther Turner Reynolds, Jr., age 65, of Clarksville, passed away Friday, September 25, 2015, at his residence.

Arther was born in Nashville, TN, to the late Arthur Reynolds, Sr. and Betty Jane Batson Reynolds. He was also preceded in death by one son, Phillip Turner; and one brother, Kenneth Reynolds.

Mr. Reynolds was a US Army veteran and a member of the Apostolic Faith Tabernacle. He proudly built the church and was the song leader for many years. Arther was an honest, loyal, and committed Christian husband and father, and an example to all.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 29, at 1:00 PM, at Apostolic Faith Tabernacle, with Rev. Jack Batson officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, September 28, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM, at Apostolic Faith Tabernacle and Tuesday, September 29, from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service, at the church.

Arther is survived by his wife of 17 years, Verisa Reynolds; one son, A.J. Reynolds; four daughters, Shannon (Darrell) Williams of Clarksville, Elizabeth (Jared) Sparks of Ft. Bragg, NC, Amber David of Clarksville, and Ashley (Ryan) Upton of Clarksville; three brothers, Ricky (Diane) Reynolds of Pleasant View, TN, Tim Reynolds, of Charlotte, TN, Mark (Paula) Reynolds of Clarksville; sister, Janice (Kenny) Arms of Joelton, TN; nine grandchildren, Victoria, Michaela, and Alexis Williams, Natalie, Kayden, and Meah Sparks, and Katalina, Alec, and Ryley Upton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Stephen Bullock, Junior Wood, Randy Lewis, Ted Roberts, Victor Cortez, and Joey Ruppel. Honorary pallbearers will be David Strong, Doug Strong, Darrell Williams, Jared Sparks, Ryan Upton, and Kenny Arms.
