Operation Homefront is a 501(3)(c)non-profit that provides emergency financial and other assistance to the families of our service members and wounded warriors.
Our programs include:
Emergency Assistance: grants to address unforeseen budget shortfalls for basic needs like rent, utilities, and food, with a focus on relieving financial crisis and putting military families on a path to long-term financial sustainability.
Housing: Rent-free apartment communities for wounded warriors and their families transitioning from the military, and permanent mortgage-free homes for military and veteran families, accompanied by a wide spectrum of services and support delivered by highly-trained caseworkers.
Family Support: Programs designed to provide material and morale support that strengthens and uplifts military families. Our family support programs are based on making life easier for military families with tangible support that demonstrates that the American people care about their struggles. From school supplies and holiday toys for military kids to programs tailored for military spouses and caregivers of wounded warriors, Operation Homefront is committed to helping the military families who sacrifice so much to serve our country.
Some of our local events you may have seen: Back To School Brigade- backpacks with school supplies given to our military kids, Star Spangled Baby Showers, Holiday Meals for Military Families, Holiday House at Fort Campbell and our Homes on the Homefront Key Handovers for mortgage-free homes for veterans!
