CLARKSVILLE Tenn. – Detectives with the Clarksville Police Department as well as a crime scene unit were at the home of Joshua Aretz on Nicole Rd. Thursday morning.

Aretz is a suspect in two recent homicides in Clarksville.

“This is an open investigation and the public is not at risk,” said Officer Natalie Hall, Public Information Officer for CPD.

Police said a search warrant was issued for an individual on Nicole Rd.

Further details were not released.

Aretz was first arrested last year in connection with the death of 19-year-old Adam Marquez on Needmore Rd. in Aug. 2014.

He was later named as a suspect in the murder of Fort Campbell soldier Liperial Easterling on Aug. 9 of this year.

Aretz is currently listed as an inmate at the Montgomery County Jail. He was booked without bond Aug. 11 after violating his probation on four separate occasions, according to court documents.
