FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. – Approximately 250 soldiers from 1st Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) are scheduled to return to Fort Campbell Friday.
Family, friends and fellow soldiers will gather for a ceremony to welcome the returning soldiers home from their deployment to Afghanistan where the unit supported Operation Resolute Support in advising and assisting the Afghan National Army.
The ceremony will be held at 2 a.m. in Hangar 3. The time is subject to change with short notice.
