CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Sheriff Fuson is pleased to announce Sandra Brandon as the new Public Information Officer for the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
Sandra is a graduate of APSU with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations and a minor in Journalism. She also comes from a local and regional media background, previously working for 5 Star Media Group and WAPX radio here in Clarksville, TV43 in Hopkinsville KY, and as a wire writer in Nashville.
“We are excited to welcome Sandra and look forward to getting her settled in to her new role,” Sheriff Fuson said. “She officially starts today and after getting a few administrative things behind her, can immediately be contacted by members of the media.”
Jamie Dexter, who had been serving as PIO, is pursuing a new opportunity as a Deputy Sheriff with the Criminal Warrants Section and will continue to serve the agency. “I appreciate the work that he done as PIO and wish him well on his new assignment as a Deputy Sheriff,” Sheriff Fuson added.
