CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Judge John Gasaway of the 19th Judicial District in Montgomery County announced his retirement Friday, Aug. 28.
In a letter to Governor Haslam, Gasaway said his retirement will be effective December 1, 2015.
“It has been an honor to have been entrusted by the citizens of the district with the grave responsibility of serving in this capacity,” the letter states.
Gasaway has served as a circuit court judge in the district for 25 years.
