CLARKSVILLE Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Two Clarksville-Montgomery County School System (CMCSS) schools are on lockout as of Monday at 11:30 a.m. at the recommendation of law enforcement due to the manhunt that is taking place.
Messages were sent to Woodlawn Elementary and Liberty Elementary parents via the notification system:
“Law enforcement is on site at both school locations and will remain so the rest of the school day and the only people coming into our building are people that can prove to these officers that they have business here at the school. All students are safe and are continuing on with their day. Everyone within the building will be staying in this building with no one going outside in order to keep everyone safe. Once again all students are safe within the building and will continue on with their day as normal.”
