CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – UPDATE: Three minor traffic incidents reported since 10:50 a.m.
Snow began falling early Wednesday as city and county road departments hit the road to clear problem areas.
The winter storm warning has been cancelled, but travel will still remain hazardous in areas where the temperature does not reach above the freezing mark.
Some snow and ice is expected to remain on the roads.
According to Clarksville police, there have been approximately 20 traffic incidents, most of which were vehicles going off the road.

Sixteen of these were minor incidents and four of them appeared to be more serious, but all parties refused to be transported to the hospital by EMS.
Currently, some of the roads are covered with snow and some of them have been cleared. Be aware though- some of them still have slick spots.
Citizens are advised to stay off the roads if possible. If you do have to leave your house, drive slow and keep a safe following distance between your vehicle and the vehicles in front of you.
As of 10 a.m., there are few cars traveling on main thoroughfares, including Wilma Rudolph Blvd., College Street, etc.
