Veteran and racecar driver visits Clarksville for ‘Salute our Troops’ tour

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The third annual Kangaroo Express Salute Our Troops tour stopped in Clarksville Friday, July 26.

Racecar driver and veteran Don O’Neal visited the event, which raises money for the USO, Fisher House, and state-based military support groups such as the Enlisted Association of National Guard of Tennessee Auxiliary Soldier Airman Relief Fund.

Kangaroo Express will host a “Family Fun Night” tonight from 5-8 p.m. at Valor Hall, 101 Walter Garrett Lane, in Oak Grove, providing entertainment for military families. The event will include live entertainment, food, giveaways, and fun activities for kids including bounce houses, a climbing wall, face tattoos and yard games. Tickets for the event are free with a military I.D. and can be picked up at local Kangaroo Express stores.

Don O’Neal will also make two appearances Saturday:
11 a.m. – 1 p.m.: 648 Lafayette Rd., Kangaroo Express
4 – 6 p.m.: 601 Tiny Town Rd., Kangaroo Express
