Traffic blocked on Dunbar Cave Rd. for hours due to crash

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Police responded to a crash Tuesday, Sept. 10 around 6 p.m. at 170 West Dunbar Cave Rd.

According to Officer Natalie Hall with the Clarksville Police Department, a semi-truck driving into a parking lot snagged an AT&T telephone wire. At this time, a concrete mixer truck driving eastbound caught on the line, which broke the pole it was connected to.

The semi-truck driver was not cited because the initial incident occurred on private property, and police determined the driver of the concrete mixer truck was unable to avoid the damaged lines.

No injuries were reported. Traffic was blocked in the area for several hours while crews cleared the scene.
