Grain truck overturns at Peachers Mill and Tiny Town roads

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A tractor trailer carrying grain overturned Wednesday, Jan. 22 shortly before noon at the corner of Peachers Mill and Tiny Town roads.

According to Officer Natalie Hall with the Clarksville Police Department (CPD), the driver, Richard Warren, 69, was attempting a left turn westbound from Tiny Town Rd. when the load shifted in the cargo trailer, causing it to roll and spill. The truck then rolled over.

Witnesses at the scene including Travis Tanguay, Osidis Ayala, and Lawrence Krieg helped remove Warren from the vehicle. They cut his seatbelt and turned off the truck.

Warren was transported to Gateway Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries and then released. He was later cited for operators to use reasonable care.

Traffic was blocked for several hours while crews cleaned up the area.
