NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The GED high school equivalency test will transition to a new format beginning Jan. 1, and the Tennessee Electronic Library (TEL) is offering help to these who wish to pass the test before this date.

Any work completed on the test this year will be erased when the format changes. TEL’s free study resources include online databases with access to newspapers, magazines, periodicals, and reference materials.

TEL’s Test Prep section includes practice tests, self-paced courses and study guides for the GED exam. Participants can set up free accounts here.

For more information about GED testing, contact the Department of Labor’s Adult Education Division at 1-800-531-1515.
