CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) A man has been taken into custody following a lockdown at Tennova Healthcare.
Police responded to a report of a man in the parking lot with a gun.
Clarksville Police were alerted by a third party to a man threatening to harm himself at around 5:00 a.m.
Police spokesman Jim Knoll said the man later showed up in the hospital parking lot but never exited his vehicle. Police on the scene were able to negotiate him out of the vehicle without incident. Knoll said it’s not likely that charges will be filed.
The lockdown was lifted just before 6:00 a.m.
