CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Two Clarksville teenagers have been charged after leaving their three-week old baby in a vehicle outside a bar Friday, Dec. 13.

According to a report from the Clarksville Police Department, Tyler Faul (19) and Kimberly Pannell (19) entered an 18 and over bar at 136 University Avenue with the child Friday night.

A witness told police they both left the bar, and Pannell returned without Faul. Within 30-45 minutes, Faul entered the bar several times without the baby, according to the witness. Faul eventually reentered the bar with the baby.

Several witnesses said they had seen the baby unattended in the vehicle multiple times for over 30 minutes. During this time, the temperature was 37 degrees and it was raining.

Faul and Pannell were charged with child abuse and neglect and booked into the Montgomery County Jail with a $25,000 bond each.
