Technology for Teachers is a grant-based initiative to provide teachers with tablet touch screen technologies to support the academic and social success of children with special needs. The technology must be used for developmental and educational activities which enhance the applicant’s ability to deliver instruction to students with special needs.

Applicants for the grant must indicate how the tool will be used in the classroom, including specific applications to achieve classroom goals. This program is open to Montgomery County and all surrounding counties special education teachers.

The application can be downloaded at www.cadstn.org under Community Outreach, Local programs. The Deadline for the Technology for Teachers is November 29, 2013. Recipients will be notified in writing by December 9, 2013. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
