HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – One of the suspects in the sexual assault of a 15-year-old Hopkinsville boy has been released on bond.
On Monday a judge reduced the bond for 20-year-old Dayton Jones from $1 million to $250,000 cash or $500,000 in real property. Jones reportedly bonded out shortly after the hearing.
He is one of four suspects that allegedly assaulted the teen in October, causing life-threatening injuries.
Jones is charged with the following:
• Sodomy 1st (with serious physical injury)
• Distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor
• Promoting a sexual performance by a minor (with physical injury)
• Use of a minor in a sexual performance (with physical injury)
He is required to wear an ankle monitor, and is prohibited from having a cell phone or using social media.
