CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A suspect in an ongoing murder case was arrested Thursday after allegedly pointing a gun at the murder victim’s mother.
The mother of Adam Marquez, who was fatally shot last year on Needmore Rd., was driving on Athletic Ave. Aug. 25 along with a man who has been named a witness in the case and two young children, according to an arrest warrant.
The victim told police that a vehicle occupied by an unknown female driver and a man she believed was Clinton Hunter pulled up beside them. Hunter then allegedly pointed a gun at the victim’s vehicle.
The victim held out her cell phone to take a picture of Hunter. She said he saw what she was doing, lowered the gun, and the vehicle drove away.
This type of intimidation is an ongoing issue, according to the victims.
Warrants for aggravated assault were issued for Hunter and he was taken into custody Sept. 3. He was previously out on bond.
